On May 17th, ICT Chamber of Commerce - MASIT with the support of the REG USAID Project, has launched the Re-qualification Program for non IT workforce. Namely, this is a pilot project through which MASIT tends to help young and mainly unemployedpeople get relevant knowledge in 2 different IT streams: .NET and front end development.
Before the start of the classes, there was a public campaign on TV, radio and social media so that more candidates are animated. At the end of the process circa 130 CVs have been submitted. A rigorous recruitment process of testing and interviews has taken place, so that candidates with best IT readiness skills are placed in the program. At the end 40 people have entered in both streams of the program. For the recruitment of candidates and training courses MASIT has partnered with Seavus Educational and Development Center.
The training courses will take place until September, which will be followed by internship programs within the IT companies in October 2017. Some photos of the first class are attached.
