Yesterday, REG held Module II training under B-REDI Competitiveness Acceleration Program Activity for Agriculture and Food Processing in Macedonia. Representatives from selected export oriented “second tier” companies got trained in defining Unique Selling Proposition, Pricing and Distribution Strategy, Proposal development market positioning, and branding. Module II included Push - Pull Marketing Strategies, Promotional Strategy and Promotional Mix and provided detailed guidance in preparation for B2Bs, trade fairs and trade missions. Few companies presented the draft Strategic Export Marketing Plans (SEMP) developed under the project mentorship. Key lecturers gave comments and suggestions and facilitated group discussion on the target markets analysis and marketing mix they need to use in order to optimize their resources and improve competitiveness.
The Competitiveness Acceleration Program will result in each company developing its own Strategic Export Marketing Plan, improving internal capacity for analyzing and approaching markets and increase readiness for establishing linkages with regional and international buyers, particularly in EU.
